WHAT BOTH RETREATS SHARE

Privacy without pretense.

These are real family properties, not polished resorts. The roads, river, weather, wildlife, and seasons are part of the experience.

01

Your group alone

No crowded campground and no neighboring reservation on the same property.

02

The river nearby

Swim, fish, paddle, explore, or simply listen to the water move.

03

Honest expectations

Access and conditions are explained plainly so guests can prepare wisely.

04

Leave it better

Respect the land, carry out what you bring, and help preserve the experience for the next family.

HOSPITALITY AS STEWARDSHIP

We share what has
first been entrusted to us.

The Tallapoosa retreats are not another Moss & Sons service. They are family-owned places that demonstrate the same conviction behind the business: land should be cared for thoughtfully, used gratefully, and left stronger for those who come after us.

Read The Steward
“Swim, fish, kayak, explore, make memories—and leave it better than you found it.”
